Working 2050: BodyHome Makers

Check it out on April 17th.

hey hey —

Working 2050 is returning soon! Last week I sent Katie a piece of audio I’d avoided recording for… months.

Maybe six months.

You know how long it took me to record?

Eleven minutes. Don’t procrastinate.

Anyway — I’m excited to share BODYHOME MAKERS, a speculative oral history + working 2050 companion project from Kae Bara Kratcha, part of their work in Columbia’s Oral History program.

Kae interviewed Georgia, a tattoo artist in 2021 to create a fictional set of field notes from Jules, a 17 year old in 2050 visiting a friend’s cooperative.

if you’re around this weekend, you can also check out a live version here.

Kae uses a lot of the same principles of the imagining hopeful futures workshops, and I’m excited for us to explore this live.

Hope it’s sunny where you are,

H
