the future of death

Feednet is a quarterly-ish news roundup on technology, community organizing, and learning how and what to learn. Read old versions here.

Notes on Feednet: maybe the answer is breathwork

Hi,  are you drinking enough water? have you tried breathwork? I haven't done any of these things but I feel like it never hurts to ask.   There's a new episode of Working 2050 this week here.      Here are three other media, technology, and social change links I'm scrolling through right now:  + the Vintage Cuban Radio project, Cuban radio programs from the 1940s-1960s -- before and after the Cuban Revolution.   + I talked to Taylor Elyse Morrison last week about the future of the weird *Authentically Branded* world of #Wellness, + learned about organizational development health, which is cool if you like structures or doing unsolicited Esther Perel impressions  + I shared this episode as text before, but Working's new episode is based on Recompose, a death care system and burial method that returns bodies to the earth, sequestering carbon and improving soil health. Right now they're trying to scale this to serve the Seattle area. The whole project is very cool and an exciting hopeful action towards the future.  Stay safe,
