Notes on Feednet: Obligatory Yearly L Word Post
Feednet is a quarterly-ish news roundup on technology, community organizing, and this month, how it probably sucks to work for Bette Porter.
Feednet 14: Lessons From Bette Porter's PR Specialist
Hello, Remember the L Word reboot (sequel)? It finished its first season mere weeks ago, but it already feels like it happened in another lifetime, a lifetime where Jenny Schecter may or may not be alive, but she definitely doesn't have Twitter. Here are 3 tactics to steal from Bette Porter's PR Specialist. I posted a quick update last week, lots of which I’ve shared here before: + Five Minute Speech Coach is coming out in March! The course will include a library of tools and resources designed for activists and organizers doing narrative strategy without a ton of capacity. It will cost $9 to access, $6 if you’re subscribed to Notes on Feednet. + One other project that comes up next month is Chicago Minute Civics, a twice a week short podcast on different political players in Chicago's government. + I’m also going to be playing with a new format for Feednet: I’ll release two a month. 1 will be free/normal, and 1 will be for paid subscribers, with the 2nd a more in-depth case study or tool focused. Stay warm,
+ H
