Notes on Feednet: Notes on Notes on Feednet

hello,  lately do you feel like in the war between your attention span and the Internet... the internet is winning?  The only way that I can understand the resurgence of newsletters as a cool new thing is through the lens of everyone's broken internet attention spans.  We keep getting trapped in the scroll of our own inboxes, so.... we might as well scroll through the thoughts of someone who we like (or at least hate enough to subscribe to).   I wrote about what I've learned from writing Feednet 65 times, reflecting on how it has morphed over the last 2 years.   I made a lot of Animorphs jokes in the process. You can read it here if you're been thinking about being part of the newsletter revolution.   Over the last 2 years, I’ve sent everyone on this email list something they probably didn’t want to receive, as I morphed and Feednet morphed too. So… sorry about that, you guys.   One thing I thought a lot about is that whether it’s tips on dealing with insomnia, social media tools, or TV shows to watch, I have learned so much from the people who respond and read these — former coworkers, mentors, friends.  It means a lot to get to talk with people I know and like but don’t get to talk about fun things with very often.   Thanks for being part of this process.
